Sgroppino – Cheers!

Yesterday we ended a very successful Christmas dinner with a ‘Sgroppino’. I’d never heard of it before, but it is basically a grown-up smoothie – extremely yummy and easy to make!

3 scoops lemon sorbet
1 shot vodka
150 ml champagne

Just mix it up, serve, and enjoy…

I also had never heard of sgroppino, until I met my husband who is from Padova. Sgroppino comes from the venetian dialect sgropin, which means sorbet.
