Since we’re all mums that like to travel, I have to tell you girls about the perfect baby/toddler seat for on-the-go. THIS IS IT: the Phil&Teds Me Too Chair.

It’s light (less than 1 kilo /2 lbs), it’s flat (2,5 cm /1 inch when folded), it fits on nearly every table and it looks really, really good.

It comes in red, blue and black. To be used from 6 months to 3 years (or about 18 kg).

I have 2 in black. Since we’re living in this temporary place in Amsterdam, and my Stokke chairs are still in storage somewhere in the south of Holland, I have been using mine constantly for both my children for the last 6 weeks. They are really being tested to the core- they’re being climbed into, hung on, jumped in, and food has been smudged all over them. But they still look as good as new! And I haven’t tried this yet, but the nylon seat is even machine washable!!!

When folded you can easily put them in a (diaper) bag, so they’re great for bringing to restaurants as well.

They’re not really cheap (it’s better in the US – as always), but tell your husband it’s a great investment.
